Welcome to the Jericho Kitchen Cookery School. If you haven’t heard about us yet, we are a young, vibrant and enthusiastic school that opened its doors in January 2015. We currently pop up in various venues in and around Oxford including Wolvercote, Nuneham Courtney and Stadhampton.
We provide you with a wide range of cooking experiences but no matter which class you choose, each is the perfect place to come and learn from our enthusiastic and experienced teachers in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Our classes vary from Sri Lankan to Italian, from Bread Making to Mexican, from Foraging to Cooking on Fire. They are very much hands-on, with all the ingredients, aprons and recipe packs provided. We either graze as we go along or sit down together for a meal around the table at the end, enjoying the fruits of your labour. There is always time to relax and ask as many questions as you like. With some classes you can even take the dishes home to share with family or friends.
If you can create a feast with fresh ingredients and a few pieces of equipment in a church hall on a fold-up table, you can recreate it anywhere – think of the pasta grannies in Bari making fabulous orecchiette on a wooden table in the street!
Our ethos is simple – we love good food and wish to share our passion with you.
