Wow, what a week! This time last week I was sitting upstairs in the Turl Street Kitchen eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mr Carlo Petrini, the founder of the SlowJericho Kitchen Cookery School - arrow 10x10 - Slow Food Food Movement in Italy in 1986.

About 30 of us crowded into the room and we were treated to talks from Shane Holland, the Head of Slow Food England, Fred Plotkin who describes himself as a Pleasure Activist and Annelie Bernhardt a graduate of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy.

It really was truly inspirational and all led to the formation of the Slow Food Oxford Group. If you would like to join the group then please drop us an email via our Facebook page (until we get the website up and running)https://www.facebook.com/pages/Slow-Food-Oxford/536351513171784?ref=hl So big thank you to Matt Todd for instigating all of this.
