Learn how to make the fermented drink kombucha. Join nutritional therapist Emily for a fun and relaxed hands on experience where you’ll get to taste samples of different kombucha flavours and learn how to start your brewing journey, plus an introduction to gut health, its importance and a guide on how best to support your own.
If you have never tried home-brewed kombucha, then you are in for a lovely surprise! This class is suitable for all, including fermenting beginners. Making kombucha can be slightly daunting when you have no idea what your drink will look like as it ferments; you will leave this workshop with a good understanding of what is good and what is not, and the confidence to brew your own. During this in-person workshop, Emily will guide you through the step-by-step process of brewing your own kombucha.
You will discover why this probiotic drink is so good for you, the do’s and don’ts of brewing, flavouring, techniques and ideas. You will leave with your own SCOBY and jar of kombucha as well as a good understanding on how to care for, flavour and sustain the kombucha in an easy and maintainable way.
Things to take home:
- Your own kombucha brewing kit including a choice of organic teas and a live SCOBY
- A step-by-step written brewing guide
- Information on how best to support your gut health

We will provide you with a warming soup and fresh bread to keep you going during the course, so don’t worry if you are coming straight from work. See you in January – here’s to your healthiest year yet!
