A very warm welcome to Ana who joins us to impart knowledge on all things foraging!!

In this class we will be learning how to make our own immunity boosting Elderberry Syrup. We start with a walk around the farm and learn how to identify the elderberry tree.  Obviously by November there will be no berries, but fear not!!! We carefully harvested enough berries to freeze ready to defrost back to life and make your cold buster ready for winter – once you learn how to make it you will never go through another winter without it!

We then proceed to the barn  where you will have all the ingredients to make 500 ml of elderberry syrup to take home. During the session you will learn about medicinal uses of the plant, it’s history and folklore.

We will finish with a Q&A accompanied by some wild herbal tea and treats made from foraged ingredients.
